Grace Hlavacek

Grace Hlavacek is a multi-disciplinary artist who focuses her work on bring to life extravagant worlds and telling stories. She enjoys creating complex environments through the use of both traditional scenic design practices and emerging media technology including projections, projection mapping, and other integrated media. Growing up in Cheyenne, Wyo, Grace was involved with both dance and theater as a kid which grew her love for the liveness found in performance and a love for sharing emotion with her audience. Grace received her BFA in Experience Design and Production with a speciation in Scenic Design and Interactive Media for Live Performance from the California Institute of the Arts in May of 2024.
