As a Costume Designer and Storyteller, I bring characters to life through articulating their social identities and culture. I am dedicated to supporting the narrative of stories by crafting authentic characters, and providing balance for frame or stage by using color, texture, and silhouette. My recent costume design work include: A Roadside Banquet, Colors of Solace, Deep Into the Forest, and Likes. Another upcoming work: Yaksok. I started my career working in costume department as a costumer in Taiwan, where I honed my problem solving skills and got hands-on experiences. The productions I worked on include Silence (2016) directed by Martin Scorsese, The Bold, the Corrupt, and the Beautiful (2017), directed by Yang Ya-che, which won a Golden Horse Award for best feature film.As an assistant costume designer, I worked on Territory of Love (2018), Leaving Virginia (2020) and a TV series Light the Night (2021), which is streaming on Netflix.I received an MFA in Costume Design from the California Institute of the Arts.
